CARDIFF / PERSONALLY PLANNED WITH JOSH

A connected cockpit.
A considered finish.

Bring the cockpit, helm and interior into one clear brief. Show each area in place, explain what you want to improve and share the boat’s berth or storage address so we can agree how the pieces are assessed and returned.

A personal service with Josh. Collection, visits and fitting are agreed around your location and project.

THE PIECES / THE PATTERN / THE PLAN

Every detail.
Considered together.

Open each part of the brief. A few useful photographs can make the first conversation much clearer.

How we agree your specification ↗
01Map your seating

Begin with the seating as a complete arrangement.

Photograph the cockpit, saloon or helm area from several angles. Number each cushion and identify backrests, curved corners, locker lids and fixed panels. Tell Josh what feels uncomfortable or looks worn; the cover, foam and existing base each contribute to the finished result.

02Confirm the berth

Tell us which Cardiff berth or yard.

Provide the actual marina or storage address, access contact and proposed dates. Identify which pieces lift out and which remain fixed. An onboard assessment, workshop route or collection of removable cushions is agreed around the boat. We do not claim a Cardiff workshop or marina affiliation.

03Choose the material

Make a material direction that belongs aboard.

Compare colour and texture in physical samples before approving manufacture. Spradling, Sunbrella and Agora ranges offer different choices; suitability is confirmed for the exact collection and seating application. Agree seams, piping, support and underside details as part of the same brief.

04Arrange the handover

Keep collection and installation connected.

For suitable loose pieces, UK-wide cushion collection and return can be planned around your address. Same-day UK courier collection is available by confirmed booking. Packing, identification, pattern checks and who receives or fits the pieces are agreed before dispatch.

BEFORE WORK BEGINS

Practical answers.

Should I remove the cushions before asking for a quote?

Start with photographs of the fitted seating. Show removable pieces and fixed backs separately, including any accessible fixings. Agree what needs to be removed and who will do it before dismantling anything.

Can cockpit and saloon seating be part of the same commission?

Yes, describe both areas in the brief and number the pieces by zone. Colour and detailing can be considered together while the material, filling and underside construction are selected for each area’s use.

Can I send my cushions instead of bringing the boat?

For suitable removable pieces, yes: agree identification, packing, pattern references and return arrangements with Josh first. Fixed components need an individual removal plan.

Do you offer same-day courier collection?

Same-day UK courier collection is available by confirmed booking. Collection availability, transport costs and addresses are agreed individually; this does not mean same-day manufacture.

Do you send pattern material?

Where a paper-template route is appropriate, pattern material and instructions can be arranged. Agree what to trace, orientation, labels and fixing references before making or returning a pattern.

What do you need for a quotation?

Send whole-area and detail photographs, boat location, piece count, desired changes and intended dates. Include accessible underside or fixing views where safe. The scope is assessed before materials, logistics and dates are agreed.
