DORCHESTER / PERSONALLY WITH JOSH
Choose the material for the way you live.
Start with the setting, the existing furniture and the finish you want. Compare physical samples before confirming colour and texture; any performance requirement must be checked against the exact fabric specification.

WHAT HELPS US ASSESS YOUR ENQUIRY
Explain the exposure
Tell us whether the piece is indoors, shaded, exposed to sun or used aboard. Storage, covers and the surrounding construction matter alongside the chosen fabric.
Build a coherent palette
Send a wider photograph of the space and any retained materials. Explore Spradling, Sunbrella and Agora where appropriate, then shortlist exact collection references.
Confirm the evidence
Ask about the selected fabric’s published care and performance information. No fabric is universally fade-proof, waterproof or suitable for every use.
BEFORE YOU MAKE ARRANGEMENTS
Your practical questions.
Can you guarantee a colour match from my screen?
No. Screen settings, lighting and the age of existing materials affect appearance. Use a physical sample and an exact manufacturer reference before agreeing the work.
How does an enquiry from Dorchester work?
Send photographs, your actual location and the changes you want. Josh will confirm whether the project can be accepted, what needs inspection and how collection or a visit could be arranged. No local branch, marina partnership or permanent representative is implied.
What is agreed before work starts?
The accepted scope, material references, pattern or measurement route, price and timing are agreed for your project. Do not dispatch pieces until packing and transport arrangements have been confirmed.
Can you arrange collection?
Same-day UK courier collection is available by confirmed booking, subject to the pieces, packing, route and availability. It is a collection service, not a promise of same-day repair or manufacture. Larger furniture needs its own transport assessment.
