01Trace the chair’s actual seat+
Front and rear widths can differ, with rounded corners or cut-outs around the frame. Show the cushion on the chair and the empty seat rather than assuming all four corners are square.
02Check the seated height+
Explain the current comfort and the space beneath the table or chair arms. Adding thickness changes the sitting position; agree the finished depth before manufacture.
03Keep a set coordinated+
Number each chair type and count seat pads and back pads separately. Decide where ties or other agreed restraints sit, then coordinate piping and fabric direction across the set.
