Ocean BreezeBESPOKE YACHT UPHOLSTERY

PERSONAL JOURNAL / MALTA

Malta, with the samples.

Josh has travelled to Malta for Ocean Breeze. These photographs from his travels show something simple: the samples coming along too. An airport moment, an aircraft window and a material collection ready to be considered in person.

THE JOURNEY / PERSONALLY WITH JOSH

A personal service starts before we step aboard.

Colour on a screen is a useful beginning. A physical sample brings the surface, weight and feel into the conversation. That is the thinking behind a personal visit: make the material discussion tangible, then agree the right next step around the actual boat.

A SMALL DETAIL / A PERSONAL APPROACH

The samples come too.

There is a difference between saving a colour on a screen and holding the material in your hand. These photographs capture the journey; your own specification begins with the space, the use and the exact samples selected for it.

MAKE THE NEXT STEP CLEAR

Before we come aboard.

Visits, travel costs and scope are agreed individually.

Before a visit

Send photographs of the space, a piece list, the vessel’s location and the changes you have in mind. Include your captain, designer or yard contact where relevant.

Around the boat

Explain planned movements and any other refit work. The visit and return programme should follow the real access window, not an assumed fixed itinerary.

After the conversation

Agree the specification, pattern route and next approvals in writing. Collection, manufacture and fitting are separate arrangements to resolve with your team.
