01Measure the packed footprint+
Record the overall length, width and depth once the proposed protection is included. Identify rigid backing, projecting fittings and corners that must stay supported. If weight is not known, say so rather than guessing.
02Show the route out of the space+
Photograph narrow doors, stairways and any awkward turn between the furniture or vessel and the road handover point. Agree who removes and carries the item; a collection booking does not automatically include dismantling or onboard lifting.
03Agree protection without damaging the shape+
Do not fold a rigid-backed piece or compress an unfamiliar filling just to fit a parcel size. Josh and the carrier can discuss suitable packing and handling after seeing the construction. Label separate components against one inventory.

Can I vacuum-pack every cushion?
Do not assume so. Foam, backing, fabric and fittings may respond differently. Agree the packing method for the actual piece before compressing it.
Is same-day collection available for an oversized item?
It may be discussed once the dimensions, access and route are known. The booking, vehicle suitability, cost and timing must be confirmed.
