02Keep lifting and access requirements separate+
Identify lifting points and any areas that need to remain reachable. Discuss the sequence for removing the cover before handling the tender; a cover is not lifting equipment or a restraint system.
03Agree the use before the fabric+
Explain whether protection is needed ashore or aboard, and how the cover is handled and stored. Towing or use while the carrying yacht is underway requires specific assessment and agreement.

Not automatically. State the intended use and transport conditions at the start. Do not use a storage-only cover for towing or assume it is suitable while underway.
Can the engine remain beneath the same cover?
Possibly, with its normal stowed position recorded and the design assessed. Show the complete outline rather than adding the engine dimensions after the main pattern is agreed.
