Can you replace the covering without replacing the pad?
Sometimes, if the foam, base and fit remain suitable. Photographs help with an initial discussion, but deterioration behind the cover may only become clear when the piece is assessed.
Are coaming pads the same as backrest cushions?
They may provide a padded contact surface, but their attachment and shape can differ from loose backrests. Send photographs of your actual construction so the quote covers the right work.
